International Power implements automated meter based preventative maintenance in Maximo with Matrikon CBM-Max

International Power identified their critical assets and implemented usage based preventive maintenance, using Matrikon to feed their meter data from their PHD historian into their maintenance schedule in Maximo. The project went live in March 2008 and since then International Power has identified, for just their eight boilers, that they are able to eliminate three $30,000 shutdowns each year, saving $90,000 annually for one class of asset.
